The season of the great art exhibitions, Padua and Treviso are protagonists.

The season of the great autumn exhibitions is about to open, and those scheduled in “our” cities of Padua and Treviso are among the most tempting: the first is ready to welcome real masterpieces of Impressionism, while the second will re-propose the charm of sixteenth-century painting.
“Gauguin and the Impressionists; Masterpieces from the Ordrupgaard collection” is the title of the exhibition that will be held at the prestigious Palazzo Zabarella in Padua from 29 September 2018 to 27 January 2019, and which will allow the Italian public to admire the major French works of the Ordrupgaard museum collection of Copenhagen: are real masterpieces of Manet, Cezanne, Degas, Monet, Gauguin, Renoir, Matisse to form what is considered one of the most beautiful European collections of impressionist art created in the early twentieth century by the enlightened Mr. Hansen, a businessman and art lover, and his wife Henny.
There is, then, the expected exposure that will take place in Treviso at Cà dei Carraresi from September 26, 2018 to February 3, 2019.
“From Tiziano to Van Dyck: the face of the 500” confirms the avant-garde that the city has been able to demonstrate in last years in the field of art exhibitions at a national level, creating an exhibition event aimed at highlighting not only the pictorial values of the sixteenth century but also different aspects related to the society, traditions and fashion of this century. The selected paintings offer a fascinating journey that from the Renaissance reaches Mannerism till to touch the borders of the Baroque.
